I found a bunch of accounts that were sockpuppeting each other, banned them now one wants their account destroyed (http://serverfault.com/users/79615/mc9x) - for some reason I can't - I get the usual error page. Is this 'cos they're suspended or it is me?

I'm pretty sure that one account has too much rep for destroying. Anyone with more than 500 rep can't be nuked like that. Delete can be done. It makes all their content owned by 'ghosts', but it stays around. Presumably because enough people thought it was worth it. Since this is a voting ring, if you delete one, force a rep-recalc on the others which should (I think) deal with the sock-puppetry voting. Merging users is another option. | ||||
