I have the feeling it might help having less of a black or white questions or answers system.

I think having it set by default would be a better behaviour.

Lets add some shades of grey in here...any amount will due IMO. Fifty might be good though :)

Sometimes I up vote answers that are -whatever but it really only helps the rep of the person posting. It doesn't show the person who ask the question that the answer is not unanimous amongst voters.
