Using MySQL to support MythTV is probably not related to professional IT work (unless it's your job to go around and configure MythTV installations). However, configuring an environment to support software development is a professional concern. | |

At work, I have system administrators to support me. At home, it's just me - I am the system administrator and if I have problems, I should be able to turn to other people who act in the system administrator capacity for help, instead of power users. | |
