Jul 8, 2013 at 7:09 comment added Sven This limits on the low end of the spectrum are in place to prevent trolls (and disgruntled old timers with sock puppet accounts) from wreaking havoc with downvotes and disruptive comments. You need 50 rep to comment everywhere, that's not hard to get at all and you are almost there.
