I'm not adverse to doing that and making datastax (the company) a synonym for datastax-enterprise (currently their main product) .

A similar precedent is the Red Hat (also a company name) tag: redhat. The tag for their original product Red Hat Enterprise Linux rhel also redirects to redhat. (Later when their product portfolio increased additional actual tags were created).
