Using version numbers rather than friendly names
Like yourself, I'm essentially a Windows admin and therefore also don't know a sqeeze from a broken monkey. However, as it's highly unlikely I'd be able to answer questions with such names and/or tags …

tired of having questions closed -- please refine your FAQ
If I asked a question and added a tag that doesn't exist then that tag is automatically created. Whether that tag is appropriate of even relevant to the question is a whole other matter.
