Why does the careers 2.0 site cater to programmers only?
Because Dev outnumbers Ops by orders of magnitude.

Tags for "fedora": Need "fedora20" tag (maybe)
Indeed, Fedora is not often used for production environments. We even have a question about just that. I'd be more inclined to synonymize all of these tags...

How to flag questions that are too specific?
Truly unloved questions, which have a score of 0 or lower, at most one comment, and no answers, are automatically deleted after 365 days. So there's not much need to go hunting for them to kill them.

Bareos is an actual open-source fork of Bacula, which has lately turned its back on the community in various ways, such as removing AGPL code from their git repo and then trying to claim copyright infringement against people who used it.

Serverfault mods on a higher horse than stackoverflow (closing questions)
As an actual moderator, I never saw the question being discussed before it was closed. My first reaction would have been to kick it over to Unix & Linux where open-ended questions about kernel internals and Unix history are more welcome. Server Fault is about making things work and solving concrete problems. Also, very closely related: How can I ask better questions on Server Fault?

Request migrations for questions on other sites?
In any case, questions over 60 days old can't be migrated at all.

Where do I ask Cryptography questions?
@Zoredache True, but Information Security is more practical and would kick a pure-math question like these over to Cryptography anyway.
