I would like the URLs to your blogs
I was pleased to find that Google Translate actually did a halfway decent job of translating even your technical articles. Sure, it was somewhat awkward as are all machine translations, but very understandable, at least the posts I read.

@sysadmin1138 Agreed, I typically edit those out as well if I'm feeling up to it.

New flag reason for "Pointless Answer" for "Me too" type answers
Flagging as spam does have the benefit of getting the flag in front of more eyeballs (>10k rep users) to possibly get it deleted, but is that an abuse of the system? I guess my question more is: do the SE mods want the spam flag to be used for real bonafide spam or can it be used for this sort of thing as well? I'm all in favor of using it for pointless/noise answers, but just want to be sure we don't run afoul of the way the site is meant to be run.

I see you, in essence, covered the same things as I did in my update. Not sure if I have anything more to add...I'm not really a member of that community, so I don't feel I have the "right" to raise my voice at this point.

Thanks Mark. I'll be watching that meta discussion to see what happens. Also, see the update I just added for some more information/ideas/arguments.

I find it interesting (though not surprising) that we tend to think that mod_rewrite/etc would be more well suited over there and they think they should stay here. Oh well - thanks for linking to your question.
