Should questions be asked again in another board if one does not answer?
@KarmicDice Tim isn't a moderator, he's an Stack Exchange employee. It'd be nice if they had different diamonds or something.

VirtualBox question
I have to agree with Matt. But, Server Fault is also about managing workstations (note: that's multiple, generally many). I could see a dev shop where you need to distribute VirtualBox VMs. The question seems vaguely relevant, though VirtualBox has import/export functions that make the process fairly trivial.

Ok... Incredibly unlikely, but possible. All the authors could still see their own work though, and a simple flag to a mod could remedy even that most unlikely of situations.

Pretty low standard for "constructive" comments
@voretaq7 I don't have a tape robot. I move the tapes myself... Speaking of which, I'm overdue for my October backup.

People don't get notified when we remove or edit their comments (I occasionally "lighten" the language of comments). If their comments are particularly colorful, they'll get a love letter in their e-mail.

Note: I unzotted the question, scrubbed the comments, and left something constructive.

Clarifying "Novice questions are off-topic"
I kind of like the "The best advice we can give" phrasing, but otherwise very much like the revised close reason.
