Is there an appropriate place for System Administration career oriented questions?
While specific questions related to aquirring an SA job or hiring SAs might be on-topic, as you mentioned there has to be something that really stands out as "For SysAdmins Only", otherwise it's just another generic job question. Similarly for education questions; asking for a book recommendation for a specific topic is on-topic, while asking what degree you should go to college for is off-topic. Overall hit the mark close enough to warrant a +1.

What, in summary, are we supposed to do to clean up tags?
Don't both with tag synonyms, just request them on mSF. Nobody has the necessary prerequisites, the system was made for SO, it doesn't work for any of the other SE sites.

Since when are question votes different from answer votes?
@John, unless you're already epic on SO or mSO, they're extremely hostile. Also, don't even think about addressing a problem that's outside the scope of SO, there are no other SE sites but SO to those on mSO. They've got a pretty extreme case of Programmer Groupthink going on.

Thank you for making me feel old by needing to put the Pentium crack in context.

Why was this packet sniffing question closed?
Not really related to this one, but "Not a Real Question" is often what I pick when its something a SA really should know already.

Negative reputation
As Iain points out, that's rep change. A person's rep can't go negative, it stops at 1. Also, it isn't cumulative. If you start at 1, get a -6 for a bad question, then your next question is good and you get two upvotes (+10), your rep total will be 11.

Does the voters tab show everyone who's voted?
I believe it only shows people who voted 11 or more times.

When should Links be provided in Answers?
@Holo, if it's just a link and no explanation as to why the link would be useful it's still unacceptable. If you're going to copy-n-paste a link the least you can do is one sentence saying "Your problem XYZ is solved by ABC, more details in [link]".

What is the scope of server-related software questions that are considered on-topic at ServerFault?
@Robert, we don't blame the mods really... I figure you're probably aware of the situation. The community are usually the culprits of the bad moves.

Also, high rep users can see the suggestion and who approved it, in this case "Approved 22 hours ago by Mark Henderson"

Scope of questions for serverfault
This has been discussed ad nauseum by the community. We agree, this site is for people professionally supporting networks including servers, workstations, and the myriad of technical equipment that support typical business activities. The potential audience is considered when evaluating a question, not the particular questioner exclusively. Please see the FAQ for a few additional details; and the Comms Room or Meta for specific questions.

Major retag projects
@Zoredache, I really don't think it's a majority of those questions; admittedly I didn't look long but I'd guess ~90% shouldn't have windows.
