We want to celebrate the community's 10th anniversary together!
Sorry, Ward, I use my old punch cards every day, as bookmarks, and I'm still trying to get some of my old email off 6250bpi half-inch tape reels. My wife kindly let me hang my old Sun 3 motherboard on the wall, as art, until we redecorated our lounge last year. It had jumpers to set mainboard memory; 1-32MB, if I recall!

Why was this suggested edit rejected?
No, @TRiG, I don't. What I think is that resurrecting an old article to the top of the front page has a cost, which increases with the age of the article, because irrelevant cruft on the front page is a turn-off for everyone. The cost must be balanced against the benefit; so if you were fixing this in a month-old article, I'd be very happy to approve it. At seven years old, the article would have to be horrendously wrong to justify resurrection-by-fixup.

How long should it take to write an SF question?
Thank you for your kind words about my answers. I don't count the time spent researching, but I do count the time spend writing about it, which I expect people to spend in order to avoid duplication of effort. And thank you for the point about concision: I don't expect answers to be long, but I do expect them to be good, and I'm curious to know how long people think that takes.
