There are definitely "business"/"server" applications of low-cost hardware like the Raspberry Pi. The one that pops immediately to my mind is network monitoring & measurement. In such an application you do not need super robust hardware; you need lots of measurement points at a reasonable cost, and things like the RPi fit the bill nicely. I agree however with @JeffAtwood that it is likely that most RPi questions will be off-topic.
