why is that question locked - it's active, people try to share their findings and the question is not answered yet

I think it should be kept open. If an answer is found, it could be valuable.

Inappropriate font sizes

I'm not so sure. Used properly, they can really add to the readability. This is especially true with some of the longer questions/answers.
