2014 Moderator Election Q&A - Questionnaire
@sysadmin1138 regarding the close review queue. Call me selfish, but once I hit 1,000 reviews in it, I really stopped caring to go in there often. There was no fake reward to be had at that point. Maybe the badges could reset at 1,000 after giving the gold reward and start over for multiples of the same review badges?

Proposed close reason: Ask your vendor/sysadmin
My edit was just a recommendation to @KatherineVillyard ...I agree it can be construed as 2 different close reasons.

Cannot do a primary vote: errors
I got the same, but the votes still stuck. I figured Evan was trying to grab some hanging chads hoping to force a mis-election.

True, I was thinking more of the drive-by users...you seem better focused on the ones we want around.

2014 Moderator Election Q&A - Question Collection
Without coming across critical, your question
"What is your strategy for improving the quality and professionalism of questions users first encounter when visiting Server Fault?"
IMO isn't an issue for first time users. I'd venture that 9/10 first time visitors aren't here to answer questions, but to ask a new question. SO I think your question to the candidates might be better worded as "What is your strategy for improving the purpose and usefulness of the site users first encounter when visiting Server Fault?"
- just my opinion.

@Ward - I don't think I should force a primary just for the sake of doing so. But I seriously doubt Evan is going to get more than a few votes tops.

Server Fault needs professional-quality questions, not just questions from professionals
OK, last thing...when a change such as this happens what happens to any meta questions that are no longer appropriate going forward? Would they be removed to prevent confusion? Is there a way to appropriately communicate such changes to users that might search and find outdated site rules/info on meta? I'd assume the Help pages will change, but what about what we find on Meta?

Gotcha. If the scope is going to change, fine by me, but please bear in mind that one of the close reasons that was "promoted" to be used over move to SU was the "not professional" close reason. So I would presume that close reason goes away entirely?

I get and agree with most of your points but until SE decides to remove the "a site for system and network administrators" fundamental concept here then it seems like you're suggesting we ignore it? So what criteria do we impose based on @ChrisS "possible duplicates" above?

I'm challenging us to make the Christmas 2014 season be known as "killing them with kindness"
@HBruijn - I would've upvoted that question personally. The OP worded it well enough and appears to just be stumped on the way the OS works.

:) well my goal here is to see if being nice will matter...since it seems that the word "unfriendly" is prevailing lately from outsiders.
