What to do with questions tagged "community-wiki"?
Sorry, I though you were asking about questions tagged as CW, rather than actual CW questions.

Huh? No more CW questions? That will make a LOT of questions off topic/not real.

Losing "consecutive days" Credit on SF
As an aside, I was slightly disappointed to discover that there is no badge for an entire year's worth of daily activity.

Add writing in coherant english to FAQ
There is no vote to close as unclear option. Perhaps this should be added. As it stands the nearest option is to close as not a real question, which in many cases is quite inappropriate, as the question may well be real but written in a manner that makes it unreadable.

Is the syntax highlighting for Code blocks useful on SF?
thanks for those examples. I see your point and agree that it looks pretty crappy.

Yes, we do all make mistakes at times and I'm confident I make more than my share but, after making allowances for English not being the posters first language, should we really tolerate the level of illiteracy, sometimes deliberate, shown in some posts? I would assume a certain level of literacy would be require for any technical job.

RTFM inappropriate?
@Kyle, 1) I believe it is equally important for anyone seeing the question in the future to understand that they have a duty to read the manual as well, giving value to an RTFM answer. Of course that's just my opinion and I accept that it's not shared by all. 2) If the question interests me I might research it but generally I don't. 3) I do, or I might vote to close it.

I can't recall seeing (or at least not noticing) any syntax highlighted posts. Can you give us a link to one please?

Should licensing questions be closed?
@user37899, my own experience with vendors is contrary to what you say. Every time I've used a vendor to help me with licensing issues they have helped me greatly in getting what I need for the lowest cost. They have also been able to offer expertise in a specialised field that no admin can be expected to have, at least not to the same degree.

Add writing in coherant english to FAQ
In addition to coherent English I think proper capitalisation should also be required. Consider your own question title.

Overly-pedantic edits for spelling, usage, and grammar?
Agreed. I never search out posts for editing but when they're put in front of me and require editing I don't concern myself over when they were originally posted.
