Please reopen; this question is not a dupe
@jez, just because a question is popular does not mean it's on topic. there was a lot of crap posted in the past that will not be accepted now. There have been a number of discussions relating to why these questions should not be allowed. Before arguing the case please take some time to go through previous meta posts, which will give you a much better idea of why we do what we do.

How is this question NARQ?
The OP posting a bounty on that question has merely postponed the inevitable.

Can we merge tags for wireless networks
The problem remains that "WiFi" has no definition.

The reason for closing my question about a VNC server problem is false
My point is simply that the question either is or is not on topic. Throwing a few keywords at it won't change things.

It's not the words used that makes a question on topic. It's the context.

What's with all the "(!)"? If you're going to write like kid you can expect to be treated accordingly.

"status-completed" - Three cheers and thanks for making our little corner of the digital world a happier place to be.

Potentially yes, although I've yet to see a Bluetooth question that is on topic. Regardless, if we're trying to make a single tag to cover what we normally consider to be "wireless" then it should ideally be as exclusionist as possible.

wireless-network is still a little vague for my tastes. e.g. Bluetooth is wireless networking, even though it normally consists of only two devices on that network.
