Many old questions getting additional proftpd/vsftpd tags
Yeah the system wasn't designed for his kind of activity on relatively low traffic sites. I think the OP needs to slow down on the edits. I'll leave them a link here.

Review question: Retagging of old closed untagged questions
Pretty much every edit undertaken here is a good indication of a question that needs special attention.

More people need to use their delete votes more often - you know it makes sense.

As these have been pushed to the front page I have been voting and casting close / delete votes on them as appropriate. I even rolled back one but the OP found it again and re-edited it. I also ran out of close and delete votes on a couple of days.

"Disciplined" badge remained after undeleting relevant question
One thing to be careful of is converting your posts to Community Wiki. It is possible to lose a tag badge if you do that. I've earned the golg Linux tag badge twice because of that.

How should we deal with old link-only answers?
My answer remains unchanged.

This just got pushed to the front page and is probably a better example and several of teh answers appear to be just links elsewhere without any supporting commentary.

I'm not convinced that the ✓ is always a good indicator. Sometimes there are much better answers. Downvoting and deleting bad answers (even with a ✓ ) is a social good.

I actually think that spoon feeding people solutions does the internet and people a great disservice as it creates a dependence. Educating people by pointing them in the right direction (which goes down badly with many people who ask questions here because they ain't interested in learning) is in my opinion a much better thing to do.

Where do questions regarding labs for enterprise equipment & software belong if not SF?
@bwDraco Actually it takes a lot of effort to do it right. You have to participate on the target site(s) and know what is a good question for them, there is more to a migration than the name. For example SF is no longer a migration target for SO because lots of people who did not participate here thought this was the right place to migrate questions based on the name Server Fault. We ended up closing most of them. meta.serverfault.com/q/3853/9517,

How to handle situations where a user needs professional support and you are willing to provide it?
Just eave a comment saying contact me if you want help sorting this out - works for me occasionally. Don't forget to delete it later though.

Should the XAMPP tag be removed?
@reinierpost if someone is using xampp in production then they are doing it wrong. It is not meant to be in production, it is an abomination to use it as such.

I do not understand what going on recently in site
Nothing has changed in this community. We have always had a low tolerance for poor questions. Please learn from that.

Links to tutorials without some form of precis in the answer are to be avoided as links can go dead. I read the link in the comment. It's not reasonably practical to precis that because it is too long and technical so it would not make a good answer. The community did a good job of closing a very poor question. I also read the link that you eventually provided to prove you had tried. That just told me that you didn't really have a grasp of what you were trying to do and I should avoid you.
