You are cutting your nose off to spite your face. 1. Don't worry about the rep. 2. By deleting your question you'll deny yourself an answer wherever it comes from. 3. Your question does not appear to come from a system administrator/desktop support professional, it feels like you are a developer or a home user.
@MarkHenderson: We've emptied the apache tag at least 3 times now but it keeps getting resurrected, usually by migrations from SO. Can you (temporarily) synonym it to apache2 please ?
If your answer is good how can it diminish the effectiveness of the site ? Sure it stings a bit when an edit is rejected or a flag is dismissed but really, just learn from it, live with it and move on. The down votes here are because people disagree with your position, nothing more.
The community can vote on Exact Duplicate, Off Topic (Off Topic, migrate to mSF,SO, SU and webmasters), Not a real question, not constructive, too localized). At least that way you get a community consensus. Anything else if flagable too.
