Jun 22, 2013 at 6:56 comment added user9517 I think you are confusing due diligence - attempting to ensure that a space is suitable for our systems with design - taking requirements and turning them into plans that can be built. One is a sysadmin task the other is an architects task.

Jun 22, 2013 at 2:20 comment added Wesley I meant more that I've seen a tendency to downvote questioned based on "I agree with this" and "I don't agree with this" so figured I'd make a simple reminded that if people agree or disagree with the question, it should be in the answers, not downvoting the question. In other words, there should be zero downvotes on this question because of its obvious merit, even if there are many dissenting views.
Jun 22, 2013 at 0:19 comment added Ryan Ries @WesleyDavid Yeah... you're right, in that I think honestly, if a question is really well thought out and spelled out and entertaining and thought-provoking, it will garner upvotes regardless of whether it's strictly "on topic."
Jun 22, 2013 at 0:12 comment added Wesley Let us remember that voting the question up or down does not signal agreement or disagreement with the content, but wether or not it was well written and productive as a question. Make an answer. Vote an answer.
