It is OkOK for you to delete something that is not an answer, if you really think it did not help to solve the in the first place you should delete it, although without my first post, I wouldn't be able to get as much info as I needed to help the user, which I'm certain that I could. Isn't this the purpose of this website?

Everyone seemed to be more interested in saying that my post should be a comment rather than help the user. Do I earn something for posting instead of commenting? Do you think I care about rep points or badjesbadges? Please reset them or even disable them, but put my post back. Be useful yourself.

Now I know that I can comment before I type an answer, but if I don't have 50 reputation to be able to comment, how exactly am I supposed to comment? I just posted to be able to get more info from the user, and I did, which in fact, helped me to provide the user with a valid answer. Was my first post completely in vain that it diserveddeserved to be deleted? What about the second one with an answer? ... oh wait..., I was having a 'conversation' with the user.

And you are now acusingaccusing me of having conversations in my posts? Sir, If I want to have conversations, I'll use skypeSkype or mircmIRC, logically I won't use your «question and answer site for professional system and network administrators» for this purpose. I have more to do that to just "chat around".

Man, I feel really bad for beeingbeing held in helping someone, and even worse for the poor guy trying to get an answer, and the most frustrating part is that, unfortunatellyunfortunately, I can not do anything about it. Everybody makes mistakes sometime, but Its just that I totally disagree with the fact that you deleted my post.

--- EDIT 2 --- @Chopper3 Is it personal now? If the sound of kids are so annoying to you why did you had them in the first place? Clearly your wife took care of them. Kids cry, so BE a man and take care of it next time, don't just turn your back and say its annoying. If you love kids "that much", at least don't show it to everyone. Just say something constructive or go eat your cheese.

I am just wasting my time and I realised that. ImI'm in heaven complaining about hell. This is going nowhere.

Just for the record, here is the question:

Notice that /data and /eniro are 30G combined! How is it possible? Do I have a memory leak somewhere? Or is it something else?

and here is the answer:

From your mtab file, I can see that you have /dev/mapper/vgdata-lvdata device mounted in folder /data. This is perfectly fine. But you also have /data/ftp/recordings folder mounted inside /data/export/recordings folder (did you bind this folder?).

I'm guessing that your /data/ftp/recordings is 9,2GB+ and if so, your /data/export/recordings is also 9,2GB+. So when you run a du command on folder /data, it sums both folders to 18GB+. Maybe that's why you are seeing 19GB in the second command you run.

To confirm this, go inside the folder /data and type du -h --max-depth=1. You will most likely see that both /data/ftp/ and /data/export/ listed with 9,2GB+ in size each.
