How do I submit a tag synonym?
looks like it's kinda hidden.
according to the one true meta you need to go into the tag and then hit the info tab.

I think that the apt tag shouldn't have been set to a synonym of apt-get but it should have been the other way around. apt is the technology, apt-get is one of many ways to use apt.

I created the MSSQL-SSMS tag, merged sqlservermanagementstudio into it, and set sqlservermanagementstudio to be a synonym of MSSQL-SSMS

[ios] matches Cisco's IOS and Apple's iOS
IMHO Apple iOS devices are OFF TOPIC and should be closed/migrated to the correct site. I can get on board with cisco-ios since that is more specific, and then alias ios->cisco-ios.
