Problems reviewing such wide ranging topics
I wonder if this is really a review problem or an opportunity to further spin off site(s) from SF. Yes, there is overlap between LAMP and Microsoft, but I'm starting to think a separate Microsoft servers and services focused stack may be justified. Assuming it hasn't already been proposed and declined in Area 51 (which it probably has). Anyway, thanks for clarifying!

Is it okay to tell users to RTFM?
There are many questions I've had where I would happily accept "RTFM" as an answer if it also included a link to a f-ing manual!!. Sadly, some manufacturers have very confusing, hard to find, and/or poor documentation (cough, Microsoft, cough). And having spent 17 years slowly learning how to parse the arcane verbiage that makes up Cisco documentation, I would never relegate anyone asking a Cisco-related question to attempting to parse it straight from their f-ing "manuals". I come to SF.SE after R-ing the FM, because sometimes the FM is F-ing Useless.

Should downvotes be moderated?
While it can be emotionally frustrating to get any number of downvotes, the downvoting system is critical to the function of Stack Exchange and Stack Overflow. If you are here because you like the content that you find on Stack Exchange, then you should realize you need the downvotes to work as they do in order to generate the content the way it is generated. If you don't want people to downvote the way they do on SE, then you don't want to be on SE. If you want to be on SE, then you'll be happier if you learn to accept downvotes with grace.

Are problems that turned out to be typos "Not a Real Question"?
Isn't finding and catching typos an important part of troubleshooting? Surely SF can help by pointing out where and how to most efficiently look for typos and other "simple" configuration mistakes.
