@Adam, my input for you is that this is an unwinnable battle. I have never understood why a simple downvote or just ignoring the question entirely isn't enough in so many cases.

Agree with @Stefan -- it's not a toy unless you're using it as a toy. Personally I'd rather answer a question about an RPi than an old beige box. Directing folks to RPI.SE is reasonable, but keep in mind just because you're a "professional" doesn't mean you have a "budget" :)

You're right -- I should say I'd have LESS of a problem with this rather than no problem. The main point I'm trying to make is that if editing is allowed by anyone other than the original comment author, mod or otherwise, it should make info on the edit readily available, and one shouldn't ever return to see their own comment edited in any way with no indication of the source.
