SSL and TLS synonyms should be reversed
I will wait other opinions, but my opinion is that TLS or SSL should not be a synonyms at all. Iam a Windows admin and TLS config are still a topic

Simple Question: are homelab questions are on topic for Serverfault
Yeah, but I know people now with WFH, from my entourage, that bring real gear from work to try at home, so I know such case can happen, and if the guy ask help on SF, if he dont mention home, we will miss the fact it's a homelab as it's on supported gear and gear made for that.

No, never will be, but the new dynamic from WFH bring some questions related to that topic. A lab at home because of WFH and a home lab got a big nuance, but it's easy to differentiate each's one, as when for personal projects it's always something that wasn't designed to work that way that someone try to make it work the way they want.

Massive Spam Attacks since couple of days
@djdomi As a mod, often when we come to the site, we can destroy those account assosiated with the spam that was done. nuking 'em make the system check more the source of them and some info to prevent more from the same source, so it can help to restrain other spam wave

@djdomi smoke detector shut down is the biggest impact for the spam we see, as when it detect something it can be configured to make 3 or 4 flags on spam, thus it make the spam disappear fast, and to note, smoke got a chat channel that ppl in it can valide spam report and it add flags.

Labor action notice
Adding back the featured tag, as any strike action can have an impact on the site expectation, the user must be directed on the why. (I waited as the post was already in the hot meta post list, so the tag was less important)

Labor action notice
Adding back the featured tag, as it's no longer displaying in the 'Hot Meta'.

Stack Overflow Inc. changes policy regarding enforcement of AI-Generated posts
@CodyGray I like your view, I know on another platform that I moderate on it’s a ChatGPT attribution that is asked to the user to be wrote in the answer, or the mod to add it if suspected. Its less problematic than a ban for the site company, and the user is tagged atleast for such use.

Explanation of closed posts
Iam on my mobile, so the post history is harder to see, but from what I seen it was the roomba bot from stackexchange that removed the post, as it was kinda old, unanswered and with a negative score.
