I enjoy spending time breaking and fixing software bits, toying with programming languages, operating systems, rdbms, networking gear, and almost anything electronic. I'm an okayish sysadmin, with ~20y of experience with Linux and some (Free|Open)BSD and macOS. I also like to mess around with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, PostgreSQL.

I like Java, Go, Dart, TypeScript, C, C++, etc. in no particular order.

I'm also a network guy by trade, with no big aspirations in this field anymore. I helped a few small ISPs and businesses build their infrastructure. My field experience was with MikroTik, Huawei, Cisco, Ubiquiti, and some chinese-brand oddball CMTS (Cable Modem Termination System) equipment.
