When did I say something rude? You are trying to rile me up by claiming two different things all the time. You simply can't admit that EEAA was wrong, and that you are. I DON'T need to create a subdomain for my MX records. MX records and CNAME can't co-exist. You. Are. Wrong.

Maybe because you literally said they could? Quote: "No, your CNAME is not the reason you can't use MX records." (Not you, but you quoted it.) Your quote: "You don't need a subdomain. The domain example.com itself can have an MX record (and this is the usual setup)."

Okay. This is beginning to look like another conversation I just had. First you literally say CNAME and MX can co-exist. Then I ask why I need a subdomain if that's the case. Then you say they can't co-exist. Why don't you just ban me, that is clearly your goal here.
