Hiding closed questions?
+1 Option to hide closed questions would be nice - very low priority..

Problem with high reputation requirements for tag wiki edits?
shouldn't this be marked status-bydesign?

Users trading accepts for up votes?
@John, I know I've seen something about that somewhere... FAQ, mSO, blog.... can't remember where.

I don't know if that's a mistake or not but I can approve edits to tag-wikis, maybe it's just a double check system... makes sense to have two sets of eyes on those anyway.

How to get StackOverflow moderators to put hosting questions on Webmasters instead
@John, that's getting back to the questioner's responsibility of due diligence. It's not so much that 'shopping' questions are bad, as wildly open-ended, spam-magnet, no-representation-of-prior-knowledge questions. Which is basically what you're both trying to say I think...

Should my question or the proposal be reopened?
I don't think network equipment can be logically separate enough from general systems administration for it to make sense as a separate site. I barely approve of the Security site, though most SAs would admit they don't know as much as they should about security (think that argument works for networking, most good SAs know as much as they should about networking). Otherwise, spot on.

Moderator elections bug
+1 What's pointed out here is a System Message and displays for everyone regardless of having voted, or even if they're allowed to vote.

Chat activity for election nominees
there are ebbs and flows like any other chat function. Some times it'll go all day with 5 messages (so it seems). Other days I look away for 2 minutes and come back to 118 unread messages. This morning (EST) was quite active, it died around noon, picked up after lunch, and died again in the later afternoon. I think this is a strong reflection of the fact that many of us are at work and only actively chat when we're waiting on something or other.

Question migration statistics and a plea
Problem is, we've said this before (quite a few times too). People don't do it. The real question, how do we get people to do what they're supposed to?

Is it enough to just vote an answer up?
+1, Please refrain from using Salutations, Signatures, Thank You, etc.

Delete 'server' tag
I agree. "Server" is far too generic, it doesn't help when searching and doesn't help to categorize or organize the questions.

Can you submit the blog post here first before posting?
I'm above average on the grammar-Nazi scale, but those guys are crazy.

On migrating to unix-SE
The FAQ says this site is for professionals only. Putting "sez" in your question is worse that fingernails on a chalkboard. I stopped reading your update right there.
