Over-use of Off-Topic Closure
@EEAA Yeah, it's on-topic there, but certainly on-topic here as that's a sysadmin task. I think we're being WAY too aggressive about what's supposedly on-topic for SF, and we shouldn't be migrating questions elsewhere simply because they happen to be on-topic there too.

Yes, close as NARQ. It is NOT off-topic.

How is this question NARQ?
Looks kinda sorta polling to me. And will perhaps end up being too localized as well.

Are "Find [some software product] for me" questions off-topic?
Indeed. Much like ewwhite's question from this morning.

Why do people down-vote questions without telling you why?
Actually, I twice tried to supply constructive feedback. By the time I was tried to click 'Add Comment', it was gone.

Some questions are highlighted for a not-logged-in user, is that by design?
And with the hurricane they probably a) have bigger fish to fry right now and b) would want to move everything back to the main site before fixing it. We've been very fortunate that the service is running well.

Cap on Question Review?
And there's days where I only close about 2/3 of the ones I see, so I could review as many as 40 on those days. Which still allows me to contribute something on days when I know I'm too busy to go look for good questions to answer.

How many close votes does a user get per day?
And getting kind of tired of running out of them at 4 hours into the day too. Still got 1000 questions in the queue to review.

A checkbox for "Answer your own question"? What's the command-line parameter for that?
Oddly, I had the urge to downvote your question and upvote the answer.

Are we too nice to high rep mods?
Is it actually a real problem? If a new (necessarily low rep) user comes in with a set of awesome answers and questions, as near as I can tell, they're treated quite well also. I also tend to go read through their other posts if I see a really good one and upvote their other awesome Qs & As as well.

Reducing new users asking off topic questions
I've started typing questions into SU before and I DO get a banner saying that my question may be subjective and/or off-topic depending on phrasing and keywords.
