Migrations: Unix vs. Superuser?
@AndrewB: Well, I think that many aspects of the system are just a load of crap, often creating all the wrong incentives. Really, why on earth would you want to force people to take some completely unnecessary action (act upon your flag) just to increase a completely arbitrary and meaningless number in your account? You are stealing peoples time and no one benefits from it, not even yourself.

Ah, yes, 250 rep is enough only for your own questions. I overlooked that part... Anyway, I still think it's not a good idea to flag in this case. Get the rep and you can vote, don't bother the mods with this if you don't have enough rep.

review test: low quality
I failed the same thing and others which are equally gray area stuff where I disagreed with this audit systems view of things. For what it's worth, this crap has reduced my motivation to review to zero.

Review problem?
I have the same problem. Currently, it's two reopen reviews listed and none are displayed. Earlier, it was another category as well (I think new member posts). Switching to another browser (Chrome instead of FF) and logging in there didn't help.

Something new for reviewers?
They need to tweak that a lot. Having to experience this really annoys me.

Bug in /review, shows me deleted answer for review.
@Iain (or voretaq7): Is this happening for everyone or should I be in any way concerned about my reviewing? I have no reason to believe I should be concerned, but one never knows...

Rejected edit and the importance of being nice
No, it's not worth the time (IMHO).

Rejected edit and the importance of being nice
As is said: Not relevant in this case, and most edit comments (including my own) are useless, so I don't really see them. And yes, I disagree with this fundamental aspect. I can live with that.

Rejected edit and the importance of being nice
As to the edit button: I somewhat disagree with the whole "anyone can edit" notion, this case being a prime example of why.

Rejected edit and the importance of being nice
Anyone can see why this part is there in the edit history of your question, so it wouldn't lead to confusion. If Massimo wants to edit this, he can. I wouldn't if it where my answer as it's not worth the time, and I would have rolled back the edit if others had approved it. Again, it's Massimo's answer, not mine or yours. Finally, although not relevant in this case: In the windows where I can approve or reject an edit, I don't see the context so it would be another action for me to look up the actual question and see if you might have edited the question to add the info.

Should we discourage the use of PPTP
That said, the issues around PPTP are somewhat special as many of the clueless won't understand the problem anyway and also it's debatable if it is an actual problem for the person who wants to establish it. If your goal is to get around YouTubes or Netflix' country ban, it's not going to be an isssue, but if you want to protect your trade secrets from someone, it really is.

It's all fine if you know about the implications of doing something, be it to run an old NT4 box or setting up a PPTP VPN. Unfortunately, many people that come here don't and in these cases, adding some background is a good thing, IMHO.
