@JennyD You're extremely narrow-sighted if you didn't understand why I reacted to a elected mod expressing his opinion on a user-voted site in a an answer to a specific request about the site on a meta thread. But ok, whatever floats your boat :-)

The serverfault moderators get to decide whether a site approved via Area51 gets to live or not? This is quite new to me.

I'm happy to see that you're getting some changes done, but I still must insist on a MUCH more visible warning about the site belonging only to professional sysadmins/network administrators.

It seems like network engineering permits much more broad (design) questions, which is great. Sadly, it would never work for ServerFault, being as broad as it is. Imagine the flood of "help me design my VPS web service to host millions of users"
