Is SF an appropriate place to ask any question about telco network?
Have you even read the FAQ?

@Alexander, you need a lot better reason than just the lack of a more suitable site. I don't think there is an SE site about eating lunch, so do you think questions on that topic should also be allowed on SF?

What is the "Helpful Flags" page about?
Do you by any chance mean "helpful flags"?

Downvotes here on meta are not the same as on the main site. When we downvote here it simply means we disagree and/or thinks it's a lousy idea.

Please do not use greetings, taglines, signatures, thanks, etc. See the FAQ.

Bug finder at your service
Nope, the page was fully loaded in this case. While I do sometimes click before the page has finished loading all that happens then is I get no drop-down at all. Of course the difference in what we're seeing may be browser dependent. Regardless, it's still a bug.

Ok, it's not a bug but that just means it's really poor and unfriendly design.

And now I have to wait another minute before I can accept your answer. Gotta love devs who understand UI design. :/

I'm sure you'll understand if I don't bother to read anything that justifies such absurd design. Thanks for the answer. Of course that doesn't explain why I can normally edit the name back in.

What to do with an accepted answer which is plainly wrong?
@HopelessN00b, please note that I said "Then again, I'm frequently wrong about humans". Seriously though, I seldom assume people in general think but sometimes, just to be polite, I'll pretend that they do.
