After separation perhaps mac should become mac-address to eliminate confusion.

Can we just get rid of vgv8?
Going over various posts I'm starting to think vgv8/pizdets is more than one person. Some posts are in fairly good English, whereas others are little more than gibberish. I'm wondering whether it's a group of people, only some of who can speak reasonable English, working together to make a nuisance of themselves just for kicks. In the meantime these sites suffer.

Based on that it looks like pizdets is vgv8's latest user name.

Should licensing questions be closed?
why are you pouring through those documents? You should be contacting one of the Microsoft licensing partners for that. They have the expertise you and I cannot be expected to have in such a complex and often localised area. That's the whole point we're trying to make here.

I cannot read when typing (reading and editing only upon successive submissions)
it's a problem when an "IT professional" such as yourself doesn't even comprehend the concept of scrollbars.

It's worth noting that anyone systematically downvoting ANY user is wasting their time, as the system will detect that behaviour and automatically and quietly reverse such votes. I don't know if the same applies to close votes though.

What are the top three conferences relevant to SF?
@Farseeker, other than the Sage-AU conference (in Hobart this year) what else is there?

Why is a closed question not closed?
Some people can be taught. Others can learn on their own. This one absolutely excels at being neither. :(

Why is a closed question not closed?
OK, in the context of any other user I suppose that makes sense.

Yeah well, I'm not actually aware of such an event in Australia. At least not one I'd travel more than a 100Km to attend.

serverfault doesn't has a PM?
Of course that's of very limited use to those who work in different timezones.

What part of the world are you asking about? I think you may have forgotten that this is a global web site.

Nominate Questions or Answers to the "Hall of Fame".
205 now. Why does it require so many votes? There are just not that many 10K users yet and probably won't be for another couple of years. Seems rather pointless even having an option that cannot be applied.
