Apr 15, 2011 at 16:12 comment added user78394 Now I understand better why was the question moved and why the banner isn't misleading. Thank you for your comments and for your help, @Mark Henderson , @John Gardeniers , @Robert Moir !
Apr 14, 2011 at 18:21 comment added Rob Moir Please don't think of questions being moved in cases like yours as correcting "wrong" or "bad" behaviour. We handle general cases of network/server issues here, but that doesn't mean that there isn't a site in the stack exchange network that isn't a better fit for a specific question. As I think someone said in one of your answers, your question wasn't moved from the wrong place to the right place, it was moved from a right place to a "righter" place.

Apr 14, 2011 at 12:57 comment added user78394 I had a question about the .htaccess file on my server and after seeing the question here it migrated immediately at Pro Webmasters, where it belongs. I'm not sure why - maybe because a lot of (ignorant) people like me think of servers rather as machines websites are hosted on than anything else. But if those (ignorant and) confused people (me included) are not a problem, I guess my question doesn't make sense.

Apr 14, 2011 at 11:26 comment added John Gardeniers I don't know if it's your logic that's at fault. Perhaps you should have taken notice of that rather large banner across the top of the page when you first came here. You know the one, about reading the FAQ. Why not take a minute and do it now?
Apr 14, 2011 at 11:18 comment added Mark Henderson Mod Sorry, but I'm not really sure why you think the banner is mis-leading?
