Jan 20, 2012 at 2:37 comment added voretaq7 +1 - Dynamic IPs in an of themselves aren't a bad thing, a lot of companies have dynamic IPs for their workstations, and dynamic DNS updates go hand-in-hand with that. dhcp is probably a better tag for some of these questions, but there's nothing inherently foul about (properly configured) dynamic IP & dynamic DNS environments

Believe it or not, today was my very first interaction with a small business that used an internet connection that had a dynamic IP at a real office. What a coincidence.
