I actually have no idea how to deal with the developers actually - any pointers?

Can the Vmware tag be deleted ?
I'd like to see it not be able to be entered actually, that or suggest the various 'vmware-esx', 'vmware-workstation' semi-synonyms.

These tags should probably be blacklisted.
Could we get rid of the 'vmware' tag too please, there isn't any software called VMWare but that company does make lots of different products and it frustrates me as I answer a lot of them, it might force the questioner to add this vital information from the start.

Could a mod please undelete the question about stalking?
The original poster asked for it to be deleted so Zypher did.

a moderator closed my question is any one watching.
@Registered User - unfortunately for you tens of thousands of other users seem to manage to understand and get on with the system to everyone's benefit.

"Closed as off topic" Question Criteria
I never come on meta to be honest but I closed this purely because it was shopping and someone else thought so too.

How to get StackOverflow moderators to put hosting questions on Webmasters instead
My slight confusion though jeff is when someone says something like "I want to buy a dual socket server for running a database on" - for those I'm quite happy to specify models by HP/Dell/IBM/whoever with set processor/mem/disk recommendations - technically that's a shopping question but I feel does fall into what we do - that's my opinion anyway.

Yep, I do these a lot, very easy to do actually - and flexible too - not 100% sure about the valid/invalid things though - is it valid if it's a valid question/answer or valid as a flag?

Why was my server 2003 question moved to superuser.com?
@Jeff, it wasn't long originally, it was two sentence before his edit, the reason it was migrated was because 4 people before me thought it was better moved. I can't speak for those four people but the reason it was migrated was simply "because 5 different users voted". Do we really need to change the 'move' form to include justifications for people who write a bad question then put oceans more time into boohoo'ing about it on meta than they did into the original question or even the original whine? If so that's not mod'ing it's babysitting and I don't have time to wipe oversensitive chins.

Because you gave us very little information at all to work off and your problem is almost certainly generic, that it's on a server of some sort is unlikely to be part of the issue.

Because 5 different users voted to move it there.
