@Tricky close reasons do leave something to be desired, and I know its something that's been discussed before. Maybe we need to address that again at some point soon.
errrr, we don't necessarily like greetings and such in questions. We usually go out of our way to delete them, in fact. The greetings and thanks, not the whole question.
My opinion is that if there is more to offer, add another answer. Or alternatively, ask permission from the original answer-er to make the edit. I've seen that at least once.
