Guidelines for question migration
The trouble with this approach seems to be that sometimes questions which are off-topic now were on topic at the time they were asked. Also, since the questions are here and got answered, why bother?

Can't vote again if previous vote has expired?
Sounds broken to me. Logically, both, canceling up/downvotes and deleting / expiring close and delete votes should reinstate the voting status to what it would have been without these votes.

Voting on the FAQ rewrite
I may be somewhat late with this, but the datacenter operations aspect is missing completely, just as is sysadmin-related organizational stuff like best practices / ITIL. I also feel that each and every referenced tag needs a meaningful wiki summary to be able to serve as "further reading"

What's wrong with ServerFault community?
Oh, as I see there is nothing new to be added, especially meta.stackexchange.com/questions/135/… has it all

@MDMarra do you have links? I am not sure if I will take the time to do a posting at mSO, but if I do, I would like to make sure not to produce or encourage repetitions.

@MDMarra Maybe there is. But if commenting is really something which is considered a necessity, the box should be more nagging (i.e. show up with higher rep too) and include the comment field as a further hint for people who do not read popups.

"Serverfault Apprenticeships"
@ShaneMadden I think there is a firm difference between a "LMGTFY" and a posted documentation reference with the relevant excerpt. I have no current examples, but I've got the impression that basic question tend to either be closed as "off-topic" due to being "unprofessional" even if the poster indicates professional use or get not much attention and answers with considerably less love. I have to admit to feel guilty for cold-shouldering them as well most of the time.

@ShaneMadden please note how I explicitly voted to not aggressively migrate anything but just facilitating an informed decision where it belongs - at the questioner's

What kind of database/DBA questions does the SF community want to keep?
@JackDouglas whenever I do, I leave a comment and possibly vote for migration. I also think that the current implementation of the migration feature is not adequate for the user's needs and hope it changes some day.

As this is the highest voted answer: who is going to tell the DBA folks to change their FAQ as there are clearly conflicting points? I do not think it makes any sense to leave clearly definable areas like "installation" or "backup & recovery" on topic in both sites.
