Why does the code formatting not work?
This makes sense. I was not aware that the code block will be still inside the list. I updated the edit request.

Rude or abusive flag denied on a flippant joke answer - What then is 'rude'?
Not sure if +5 funny or +5 insightful ;).

Sick of "unprofessional" questions
SO is trying to build a Q&A site. And "how do i setup a port forward on linux" is a question, which fits. It should be a short question and a short answer without any duplicates, but when it's there, every user searching for it profits. You can discuss what's the base knowlege of a professional admin, but the field is diverse and a windows admin may need to google some linux basics when getting the job of maintaining a linux system as well. And SF tries to build a more reliable knowledge base than some "here's how i did a port forward" blog article.

Any reason not to display my full name in profile?
The best content still stays the best content without any identity (a registered nickname is an identity as well) associated, but you need to check it. A nickname adds the possiblity to build some reputation, not only like the point system, but even like "he helped me several times with python problems, so i may trust more without doubting", but a real name does not add any more trust, except you met me in real life without knowing my pseudonym. So you may or may not choose to use your real name and can still build some reputation. Full anonymity has the potential to eliminate discrimination.

What to do with the "rm -rf" hoax question
Delete the account, but allow to re-register under another name. You cannot prevent people from registering new pseudonyms anyway and the karma loss and loss of known nickname should be enough.

What to do with the "rm -rf" hoax question
@nwildner: It will work with non-GNU rm. So i guess with FreeBSD you're out of luck with the same problem. Too lazy to fire up a vm just to test it, but most real unices do not prevent you from doing stupid things.
